History and ownership

From saw blades to advanced medicinal equipment

Like so many other Danish companies, PJM was started by one man with a great idea who was willing to take the gamble and see his idea brought to life. In 1960 Poul Johansen had designed and constructed an automatic greasing and packing machine for saw blades working in a disused stable. Since then the company and its prospects have grown steadily. Today the company occupies 6,500 mē on one site, part of which is used to manufacture advanced automated machinery while the rest houses a design department, workshops, assembly halls and administration.

Ownership

The 1992 Poul Johansen Foundation owns 55% of shares in PJM.
PJM Holding A/S owns the remaining 45%.
